Every Webflow collection is designed differently, so Contengi reads yours and maps to it. You confirm the mapping once and every post after that lands in the right fields. Connection The Webflow Data API v2. Authentication A site API token, scoped to one site: Sites read-only, CMS read and write. Stored encrypted. Field mapping Contengi reads the collection's schema and suggests which fields take the body, summary, image, SEO title and meta description. You confirm it once. Images Featured and in-body images are re-hosted on the Webflow CDN. Draft or live Publish to the live site or keep posts staged. Change it any time after connecting. Updates The same item is edited in place. The slug of a live post is locked, so a published URL never moves by accident. Rate limits Site tokens have low limits. Contengi waits when Webflow asks and retries. Unpublish and delete Handled in Webflow. Setup: About three minutes ## Connected in four steps. Step 1 ### Generate a site token In Webflow open Site settings, Apps and integrations, API access. Set Sites to Read-only and CMS to Read and write. Step 2 ### Paste it into Contengi In Settings, Integrations, add Webflow. Contengi finds your site from the token. Step 3 ### Pick the collection Choose your blog collection and confirm the suggested field mapping and post URL. Does that work? Yes. Contengi reads the collection schema and suggests a mapping for the body, summary, featured image, SEO title and meta description. Only the body field is required. ### Can I keep posts as drafts in Webflow? Yes. Set the connection to draft and posts are staged in the collection without touching the live site. Edits to a live post stay staged too, until you publish in Webflow. ### Why does the first publish say the collection is not live? Webflow only accepts live items into a collection that has been published at least once. Click Publish in Webflow, then try again. ### Can Contengi change the URL of a live post? No. The slug of a live Webflow post is locked, so a published address cannot move by accident. Change it in Webflow and set up a redirect there.
