# Contengi: full product documentation > Contengi is an agentic content platform for founders, solo marketers, and teams of one to five. It holds a brand's knowledge base and runs AI agents that research, write, repurpose, and publish on-brand content, with a strategist helping each customer set it up. This file collects every Contengi product page as markdown. The index of the whole site, including every blog post, is at https://contengi.com/llms.txt. Any single page is available as markdown by adding .md to its URL. ## Key facts - Built by Stefan Maritz, a brand strategist and content marketer, and Neil Clulow, a software engineer. Operated by Energy & Matter. - Writing, editing, and research run on Anthropic's Claude, through the customer's own Anthropic API key, paid directly to Anthropic at cost. OpenAI's GPT-6 Luna runs the Marketing Assistant's conversation and lookups, and TypeSafe's Jev checks finished text for AI slop. The included AI runs with zero data retention. - Contengi does not train AI on customer content. - Pricing starts at $50 a month for the platform. No seats, no per-agent pricing, no lock-in. Onboarding, knowledge base setup, and training are included during the beta. - Publishes to WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow natively, and to sites built with Claude, v0, or any other code through one signed endpoint. Updates go back over the original post at the same URL. - The Claude connector (MCP) gives Claude more than 60 Contengi tools, so customers can run Contengi from inside their own Claude. - Anti-slop rules apply to all output: no em dashes, no stock AI phrases, sentence case headings, and four filters before a draft reaches the customer. - Request access: https://contengi.com/beta-access. The product runs at https://app.contengi.com. - Interactive demo: https://contengi.com/demo. The real platform running on a sample brand, with a narrated tour. No sign-up needed. - Training videos: https://contengi.com/training. A short narrated video for every part of the platform, plus advanced training on getting better results. - Contact: stefan@contengi.com. --- ## Create and ship on-brand content like you have a team of 10 experts. > Contengi is an agentic content platform for founders and small teams. Content engineering treats content as a system you build once and run every day. You build a knowledge base, define your brand rules, and a structured stack of AI agents does the execution at scale. The output stays on-brand because the intelligence lives in the infrastructure, so nothing gets improvised piece by piece. #### What is Contengi? Contengi is an agentic content platform built for personal brands, solo marketers, and small teams. It combines a brand knowledge base with a suite of specialised content agents - for SEO blogs, social posts, newsletters, PR, and more - all pre-configured so you don't need to set up any AI infrastructure yourself. #### Who is Contengi for? Contengi is built for people who know what they want to say but don't have the time or team to say it everywhere. That means personal brands building a reputation, one or two person marketing teams running the whole funnel, and SME founders who are the expert but need a system to show up consistently. #### Do I need technical knowledge of AI to use Contengi? No. You don't wire up MCP servers, fiddle with prompts, or juggle models. You set up your knowledge base with Stefan's help, then use the agents through a clean interface. The technical layer is already done. #### Does Contengi have an MCP connector for Claude? Yes. Contengi is an MCP server, so you connect it to your own Claude and run the whole tool set from there: your knowledge base, research with your Search Console and GA4 data, drafting that saves into your library, section-level editing of live articles, and your playbooks and workflows. More than 60 tools, running on your own Claude plan. #### What does the setup process look like? You book an onboarding session with Stefan. Together you build out your brand knowledge base - tone of voice, positioning, audience, competitors, content rules. Once that's in place, every agent runs on that foundation. The whole process typically takes one focused session plus a few async rounds of refinement. #### Is the content in my voice? That's the job of the knowledge base. Your tone of voice document, brand rules, and writing examples feed every agent, and drafts are checked against your rules before they land in front of you. #### What does my Anthropic API key have to do with it? The $50/month beta fee covers access to Contengi - the platform, the agents, the knowledge base, and the human setup. By default, the AI compute runs on your own Anthropic API key so you pay Claude directly at cost with no markup. If you don't have a key or prefer not to manage one, we can set one up for you, priced on usage. Typical API spend runs $10-50/month. #### Does Contengi publish to your own site? Yes. Blogs publish straight to WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow, or to a site built with Claude or v0 through one signed endpoint, and updates go back over the original post at the same URL. Published posts get revisited against your Search Console data instead of sitting there losing position for a year. You can also just export a draft and paste it wherever you publish today - nothing requires the direct connection. #### Is Contengi only for blogs? No. The knowledge base feeds a full set of agents - SEO blogs, social posts, newsletters, press releases, thought leadership, and transcript-to-content - so every surface pulls from the same brand foundation instead of starting from a blank page each time. #### Can you leave? Is there any lock-in? No lock-in. It's a monthly subscription you can cancel anytime, you bring your own Anthropic API key so there's no token markup to walk away from, and every draft Contengi writes is yours to export and keep. --- ## One brand brain, every agent you need. > Every part of Contengi in one place: the brand knowledge base, content agents, automations, the Claude connector, a built-in CMS, and LLM tracking. It holds your brand's knowledge base and runs AI agents that research, write, repurpose, and publish on-brand content, from SEO blogs and LinkedIn posts to newsletters and press releases. #### Which AI models does Contengi use? Anthropic's Claude does every piece of writing, editing, and research that needs judgement, on your own Anthropic key. OpenAI's GPT-6 Luna runs the Marketing Assistant's conversation and lookups, and TypeSafe's Jev checks finished text for AI slop. #### Can Contengi publish straight to my website? Yes. WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow connect natively. Sites built with Claude, v0, or any other code connect through one signed endpoint, and updates always go back over the original post at the same URL. #### How much does Contengi cost? From $50 a month for the platform, with no seats and no per-agent pricing. You pay Anthropic directly for the writing, at cost, with no markup on tokens. One curated knowledge base - the spine of the entire platform. [Request beta access](https://contengi.com/beta-access) [Watch the demo](https://contengi.com/demo) #### A strategy document, not a settings page Tone of voice, audience, positioning, strategic point of view and the hard rules every agent has to follow. Update one section and the whole platform learns at once. #### Built by a strategist, not a quiz For beta customers, Stefan builds it with you. We work through your business, your customers and your content, and the output is a real strategy document rather than a generic profile. #### One source of truth, no drift Soften your tone, ban a phrase or swap a competitor reference, and it propagates across the blog writer, the social writer, the newsletter writer, the assistant and the PR writer. How it actually works ### Retrieval, not a prompt stuffed with files. **Extraction and chunking.** Every document you add is broken into clean, structured sections rather than kept as one long file, so a query can surface the exact paragraph that matters. **Vector search.** When an agent writes, it searches the knowledge base by meaning, not keywords. Ask about pricing objections and it retrieves the pricing section even if the word "pricing" never appears. **Tone enforced mechanically.** A separate rules layer checks every draft against your hard rules - banned words, formatting, structure - before anything saves, the same linter every agent runs through. ### Hard rules, checked mechanically. You don't have to know what a tone-of-voice spectrum is or how to write a competitor differentiation matrix. That's the bit we handle. What you get is a set of never-use and always-do rules that every agent reads on every run. One workspace, many brands ### Run every brand you have from a single workspace. A founder has a personal brand and the company. An operator runs a couple of side projects. Contengi holds them all in one workspace - each brand with its own knowledge base, tone of voice, audience profile and team. Switch with one click, with nothing drifting between them. Works with your own Claude too ### The same brain, inside Claude MCP. Connect Contengi to Claude and the knowledge base comes with it. Claude reads your brand strategy, tone of voice and hard rules before it drafts anything, from a normal conversation, not just from inside the app. [See the Claude connector](https://contengi.com/features/claude-connector) Feature demo ### Watch how to set it up properly. 2:46 Knowledge base Set up the context every agent reads, the right way. [All videos](https://contengi.com/training) FAQ ### Common questions #### What actually goes into the knowledge base? Brand strategy, tone of voice, audience profiles, competitor angles, approved sources, and the hard rules every agent has to follow - the same file every Contengi agent reads before it writes a word. #### Do I have to fill it in myself? No. For beta customers, Stefan builds it with you directly, working through your business, your customers and your existing content rather than handing you a form. #### Can I run more than one brand from a single knowledge base? Each brand gets its own knowledge base, tone of voice, audience profile and content library inside one workspace. Switch between them with one click - nothing drifts between brands. #### What happens when I change something in it? Every agent picks it up immediately. Change an audience profile or ban a phrase once, and the blog writer, social writer, newsletter writer, assistant and PR writer all follow it on their next run. Notes holds everything else, the supporting context that keeps output specific and grounded rather than generic. #### It grows on its own Every transcript, research finding or half-formed thought you drop in makes it sharper. The more your team uses it, the more useful it is for whoever - or whatever - comes next. ### The agents don't have to be told what your business knows. This is the part of a content operation that usually lives only in someone's head. Notes makes it explicit, shareable, and finally useful to the rest of the system - because it's already in there. Not just storage ### Talk to your notes directly. Ask a question and get an answer pulled straight from what you've saved - a customer interview, a research file, a half-formed idea from three weeks ago. No digging through folders to find it yourself. Works with your own Claude too ### Context for your Claude, not just your agents. Connect Contengi to Claude and your notes come with it. [All videos](https://contengi.com/training) FAQ ### Common questions #### How is Notes different from the knowledge base? The knowledge base holds your brand strategy, tone of voice and hard rules. Notes holds everything else: interviews, research, playbooks and ideas the agents can draw on for specific, grounded output. #### Do the agents actually use what I put in Notes? Yes. Ask the assistant a question and it pulls from your notes. Brief the blog writer and it reads the relevant research. Send a customer interview into the social writer and it builds a post grounded in real words. #### What kind of things should I put in there? Customer interviews, research files, internal playbooks and SOPs, prompt libraries, and voice notes - anything that captures what your business already knows. #### Is it organised, or just a pile of files? It's organised into folders you control, searchable across everything, with related notes linked together - closer to a company wiki than a dumping ground. The agents rebuild it into a LinkedIn post, a newsletter section, a short-form script, an SEO blog and a social carousel, without you retyping a word of it. #### Cross-channel without the copy-paste A single podcast episode becomes a week of LinkedIn posts, an email, a blog post and three short clips. You record once. The agents do the reformatting. #### Your brand voice, kept intact Every agent works from your knowledge base first: tone, audience and positioning. Finished drafts land in the content library, edit-ready, rather than needing a rewrite before anyone sees them. The full roster ### Eight agents, each built for one job. #### Marketing assistant Master agent Your always-on strategist. It knows the brand and can call every other agent on request. #### SEO & blog writer Finds striking-distance keywords and ships full blog drafts, grounded in Search Console data. #### Social media writer Turns any source into on-brand LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram posts. #### Thought leadership writer Long-form, opinionated pieces under your byline, built from a real point of view. #### Transcript agent Turns a call or recording into a clean, searchable transcript the other agents can work from. #### Research agent Pulls a structured report with cited findings before anything gets written. #### YouTube agent Builds a full upload package - title, description, chapters and tags - from your video. #### PR writer Drafts press releases in proper wire format, ready for distribution. Proof, not promises ### The best content starts with you talking. Record a customer call, a voice note or a podcast episode. The transcript agent summarises it, pulls out the topics and quotes worth using, and proposes angles for each channel, so every blog and LinkedIn post is built from what you actually said instead of what a model guessed. No. Start from a transcript, a rough draft, a voice note or a one-line idea, and the relevant agent takes it from there. You review and ship, rather than starting from a blank page. #### What formats can the agents produce? SEO blogs, LinkedIn and social posts, newsletter sections, short-form video scripts and press releases, all from the same source material and the same knowledge base. #### Does it work from a single input? Yes. One podcast episode or one client call can become a week of social content, a newsletter and a blog post, without you recording anything extra. #### Is the output actually on-brand, or do I need to edit it heavily? Every agent reads your knowledge base before it writes a word: tone of voice, audience and the rules you've set. Drafts land in the library ready to review, not ready for a rewrite. "Why is this post dipping?" checks position and click-through data. ### Ask it the questions you'd ask a strategist. These usually take a retainer, a freelance strategist or a very patient senior colleague. Now they get answered in seconds, with your specific business behind every response. What should we post about this week? Which blog topics are worth going after? How should we position this new offer? Is this draft on-brand? ### Draft, review, brief, repeat. No switching between a strategy doc, your brand guidelines and a separate writing tool. It's all in one place, and the assistant connects the dots. Feature demo ### Watch what you can ask it. 4:29 Marketing Assistant How to ask, and everything you can ask it for. Your Contengi knowledge base for brand context, plus Google Search Console and Google Analytics for real performance data - queries, impressions, top pages and traffic trends. #### Can it draft content, or does it only answer questions? Both. Ask a strategy question and get a straight answer, or ask it to draft a LinkedIn post, write a brief or pull a content calendar together. #### How does it know what counts as on-brand? It reads your tone of voice, audience profiles and hard rules from the knowledge base before it answers, the same way every other Contengi agent does. #### Do I need to already have Search Console and Analytics set up? You need the accounts, but connecting them to Contengi takes minutes. Without them, the assistant still works from your knowledge base - it just cannot ground answers in your live traffic data. On-brand blog heroes and social visuals, with 30 images a month included. Source: https://contengi.com/features/image-generation Image generation The problem with AI images was never quality. It was that every one came out looking like a different company made it. Save your art direction once, then describe only the subject. [Request beta access](https://contengi.com/beta-access) [Try it out](https://contengi.com/demo) #### Style presets do the remembering Write your art direction once - the medium, the lighting, the palette - and save it. Every generation after that is one short line about the subject, and the look comes out the same every time. #### Reference images for what words miss Some looks will not survive a written description. Keep up to 10 reference images on the brand and have the model work from them as well as the prompt. #### Nothing is kept until you keep it Generations sit in a history you can browse. Add the good ones to your image library and the rest are cleaned up, so the library stays the shortlist rather than the contact sheet. #### Your assistant can do it too Ask the marketing assistant for a hero image and it generates one in the brand preset, saves it, and attaches it to the post it just wrote. No copying URLs between tabs. ### How it works Step 1 #### Save your style once Paste the art direction you already use into a preset and mark where the subject goes. Most teams do this once and never touch it again. Step 2 #### Describe only the subject "A woman seated at a long banquet table, turning to face the viewer." The preset supplies the rest, so the brief stays short and nobody has to remember the style. Step 3 #### Pick what is worth keeping Results land in the tab in about fifteen seconds. Add the ones you want to your library; the rest expire on their own. Step 4 #### Use it anywhere in Contengi A saved image is available as a blog featured image, inside the editor, or in a newsletter, the same as anything you uploaded yourself. ### Next to the post it belongs to Saved images sit in the same library as everything you uploaded, ready to set as a featured image The marketing assistant can generate, keep, and attach an image without you leaving the conversation Style presets are saved per brand, so a workspace running several brands keeps them apart Images are hosted on your CDN and publish with the post to a connected website Thirty a month is included, so there is no per-image meter to watch while you work The brief, before and after What you actually type Without a preset Cinematic noir digital painting in the style of a Renaissance masterpiece, high contrast, deep ink-black shadows and harsh white highlights, dramatic chiaroscuro, entirely monochrome except one element in vivid lime, gritty texture, heavy ink linework, moody and atmospheric, a woman seated at a long banquet table turning to face the viewer With one A woman seated at a long banquet table, turning to face the viewer Feature demo ### Watch it make an on-brand image. 1:19 Images Generate on-brand images, and keep uploads and stock photos. [All videos](https://contengi.com/training) FAQ ### Common questions #### How many images do I get? Thirty a month per workspace, included in your subscription. The counter sits next to the generate button so you always know where you are. You do not need your own image model key, and a generation that fails does not count against you. #### Why does this look more consistent than a general AI image tool? Because the art direction lives in the product rather than in whoever is prompting. A style preset is saved against the brand, so a blog hero made by one person in March and a social visual made by someone else in September are built from the same instruction. Consistency comes from the preset, not from everyone remembering the same paragraph. #### What are reference images for? Locking down a look a written prompt keeps missing. Keep up to 10 on the brand, tick them on for a generation, and the model works from them alongside your preset. They are stored small on purpose so leaning on them stays cheap. #### Do generated images go into my content library automatically? No, and that is deliberate. Generations stay in the Generate tab until you add one to the library. Unkept images are cleaned up, so your library stays the images you actually chose rather than everything you ever tried. #### Can I use the images on my own website? Yes. Saved images are hosted on your CDN and can be set as a blog featured image, dropped into the editor, or used in a newsletter. If your site is connected, they publish with the post. #### Can Claude use this through the connector? Claude can read your style presets and save images into your brand library through the Contengi connector, so what it makes matches the rest of your images. Generation itself runs inside Contengi, which is what keeps it included in your plan rather than billed per image. An MCP connector that plugs Contengi into Claude. Jobs that run inside Contengi, like playbooks, workflow runs and full article refreshes, use your workspace's Anthropic API key, the same as in the app. #### Can Claude publish without asking? Everything Claude writes is saved as a draft, and edits to a live article stay inside Contengi until you publish. It's the spine every piece of output has to agree with. #### The library is where the content lives Drafts, published pieces, notes and transcripts - a CMS and DAM in one place, where anything can be opened, edited or repurposed with a click. #### Stop hunting across tabs Every output from every agent lands here: blog drafts, LinkedIn posts, newsletters, press releases, transcripts, repurposed variants. Structured around what you actually do - review, mark ready, schedule, track what published where. #### Push from one agent to the next Send a blog into the social writer. Push a transcript into the newsletter writer. Hand a draft to the assistant for a brand-alignment pass. Every piece carries its context with it. #### A CMS built in See every post on your website, write or paste new ones, set the SEO fields yourself and publish, unpublish or delete them without logging in anywhere else. Where it goes next ### It's a hub, not an archive. No downloading drafts to copy-paste, no reformatting on the way out. The library is where the content sits, and it's where it ships from. Built-in CMS ### A lightweight CMS that does the full job. A site built with Claude, Astro or v0 goes live in a weekend. Then someone asks where the blog gets edited, and the answer is usually a code editor. Connect the site to Contengi and the CMS lists every post on it, so you write, fix and publish from the same app that wrote the content in the first place, with less tabs open. #### Write it or paste it Start a blank post and write in the editor, or paste in a draft you already have and keep going from there. #### SEO fields by hand Set the URL slug, SEO title, meta description, excerpt and featured image yourself. The character counts flag anything Google will cut off. #### Edit with the agent Ask it to tighten an intro or add an FAQ and it changes that section only, in your brand voice, and leaves the rest of the post exactly as it was. #### Publish, unpublish, delete Push a post live, pull it back to draft so its URL stops resolving, or delete it for good. Deleting asks you to type it out first, because that one does not come back. #### Change a URL safely Rename a live post and Contengi checks the new slug against your other posts and your sitemap, then reminds you to redirect the old address. #### Open to your own Claude Every CMS post is reachable over the Claude connector, so your Claude can read a live post, edit it and leave it waiting for you to publish. Works with your own Claude too ### A CMS for Claude. One of the biggest problems with working in an LLM directly is that there is nowhere organised to save and edit what it makes - everything lives in a chat window that forgets the moment you close it. Connect Contengi to Claude and every draft it writes lands in the library instead, structured, searchable and ready to open in the CMS. Claude can pick up a live post from there too, edit one section and leave the publishing to you. Feature demo ### Watch the library, the CMS and the calendar. 0:50 Content Library Find, preview, and repurpose everything you have made. [All videos](https://contengi.com/training) FAQ ### Common questions #### Does Contengi have a CMS? Yes. The CMS sits in the library and lists every blog post on your connected website, with what is live, what is still a draft and which posts have changes waiting to go out. You write, edit, publish, unpublish and delete from there. The workspace owner switches it on in Settings. #### Which websites does the CMS work with? Custom websites connect through a signed webhook and static sites through a pull feed, which covers sites built with Claude, Astro or v0. WordPress and Shopify posts can be browsed and edited in place too. Unpublish and delete work on custom websites and pull feeds, WordPress and Shopify keep those in their own admin. #### Can I change the URL of a published post? Yes. Change the slug and Contengi checks it against your other posts and your sitemap before publishing, takes the old address down and publishes at the new one. Contengi does not manage redirects, so set one up on your site for the old URL. #### Does everything an agent creates end up in the library automatically? Yes. Blog drafts, social posts, newsletters, press releases and transcripts all land here the moment an agent finishes, ready to review. #### Can I publish straight from the library to my website? Yes. Connect your website once and a blog draft goes live from the library or the CMS in a couple of clicks, at the same URL every time you update it. #### How do I know if something failed to publish? Each integration shows a last-published timestamp and surfaces any errors directly, so you always know what went where and when. #### Can I hand a piece of content from one agent to another? Yes. Send a blog into the social writer, push a transcript into the newsletter writer, or hand a draft to the assistant for a brand-alignment pass - the context travels with it. As more people start their research in ChatGPT or Perplexity instead of Google, being named by the AI is the new front page. Which AI engines do you check?+ ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and Perplexity - the five most-used assistants. Every prompt is run against all of them. How many prompts do I get?+ Up to 50 per run, split across brand questions (about you directly), category questions (unbranded, where you want to show up), and competitive questions (you versus named rivals). What do mention rate, share of voice, and citation rate mean?+ Mention rate is how often the AIs name you. Share of voice is your slice of all the brands mentioned. Citation rate is how often an engine links your website as a source. Position is where you rank when you do appear. How is this different from SEO or rank tracking?+ SEO tracks where you sit in Google results. This tracks whether the AI itself recommends you in its answer - a different surface, with different winners, that traditional rank trackers do not see. Do I need an account?+ No. Enter your site and email, pay once, and the report lands in your inbox. Nothing to sign up for. How long does it take?+ A few minutes. Runs are queued and processed in order, and you can close the tab - the report is emailed the moment it is ready. Can I choose my own prompts and competitors?+ Yes. You review and edit every prompt before it runs, add your own competitors, and set focus themes to steer the category questions toward what matters to you. How accurate is it?+ Every answer is captured in full and scored, so you can read the exact response behind each number. AI answers vary run to run, so treat a single report as a strong snapshot rather than an absolute. Can I run it again to track over time?+ Yes - run the same prompts again whenever you want to see movement. Each run is its own report with a private link. --- ## What happens between your request and a piece you'd put your name on. > How Contengi splits work between GPT-6 Luna, Claude, and Jev, the four filters that strip AI slop from every draft, and what each piece costs to run. Source: https://contengi.com/how-it-works How it works Contengi runs a small team of models, each on the job it does best, with your knowledge base in the middle and four filters between the first draft and you. This is the whole flow. [Request beta access](https://contengi.com/beta-access)See the models[Watch the demo](https://contengi.com/demo) ### It all starts with your knowledge base Every model in Contengi reads from the same brand file: your strategy, point of view, audience, tone of voice, writing guide, hard rules, approved sources, and sitemap. We build it with you during setup, and it's the reason a quick LinkedIn post and a 2,000-word guide sound like the same brand. Each model gets the slice it needs and nothing more. The writer gets your voice and rules, research gets your competitors and approved domains, and the link step gets your sitemap. Less to read means less to pay for, and less for a model to get distracted by. ### The right model for each job One model doing everything is either expensive or sloppy, so Contengi splits the work. A fast model does the looking up, Claude makes every call that needs taste, a checking model reads what comes out, and plain code handles the rules with one right answer. LeadOn us #### OpenAI GPT-6 Luna - Runs the conversation in the Marketing Assistant - Looks things up in Search Console, Analytics, your knowledge base and your library - Picks the right tool and writes the brief for the writer Fast and cheap, so it takes the legwork. It never writes a word your readers see. WriterYour key #### Anthropic Claude - Every draft, rewrite, and edit - Blog research and fact checks, workflows, and automations - The brand voice and anti-slop passes Anything that needs judgement runs here, with your full brand voice loaded. CheckerOn us #### TypeSafe Jev - Reads finished text for the patterns that give AI writing away - Checks it against your brand's own never-rules - Points at the exact sentences to fix A model built to check writing, so it gives a straight yes or no for each pattern. CodeFree #### Plain code - Counts every em dash, emoji, and banned phrase - Tests every link and drops the dead ones - Applies fixes exactly where they were flagged Where a rule is black and white, a model has no business deciding it. What we learned the hard way We tried giving blog editing to the cheaper model too. On a real post it added a TL;DR the article already had and put new content above the title, so editing went straight back to Claude. We tested moving workflow research over as well, and kept it on Claude because checking facts is judgement. The fast model earns its place in conversation and lookups, where it's quick, cheap, and more than good enough. ### How we get the slop out AI writing gives itself away in patterns, and a banned-word list only catches the obvious ones. So every piece goes through four filters, each one catching what the last one can't. 1In the brief Every writer starts with Contengi's anti-slop standard and your brand's hard rules in its instructions. They're on for every brand and can't be switched off. 2The editor's pass Claude re-reads the draft as an editor, strips the patterns it finds, and keeps every fact, example, and link where it was. The length has to stay within 10% of the draft. 3The exact scan Plain code counts every em dash, emoji, and banned phrase, and swaps em dashes for spaced hyphens. No model gets a vote on a rule that is black and white. 4The slop check Jev reads the finished piece for the tells a word list misses, like a sentence that sets up a straw man just to knock it down. It points at the exact sentences, Claude rewrites those, and Jev checks again. A real fix from a real run. Only the flagged sentence changes, so the parts that were already good stay yours. 04 ### The same standard, wherever you write The checks live in one shared pass, so every writer inherits them. Connect Contengi to your own Claude and it hands your Claude the same voice guide, rules, and slop findings, so a draft written there meets the same bar. The Marketing Assistant The SEO blog writer and playbooks Social, newsletter, PR, thought leadership, and YouTube writers Workflows and automations Fix hard rules in the editor Your own Claude, through the Contengi connector ### The cost of running on Contengi Your Claude key pays for the writing, at Anthropic's own prices with nothing added on top. Everything marked included runs on Contengi's bill. What you make Runs on Typical cost An SEO blog post, researched, written, checked, and linked Claude, Jev about $0.40 A thought leadership article Claude, Jev about $0.10 A newsletter issue Claude, Jev about $0.06 A LinkedIn post Claude, Jev about $0.04 An edit to a blog post through the assistant Claude about $0.05 A question to the Marketing Assistant GPT-6 Luna Included A Search Console or Analytics analysis GPT-6 Luna Included An LLM tracking scan, once a month Five AI engines Included Images, 30 a month FLUX Included Measured on real runs with a full-size knowledge base, at Anthropic's September 2026 prices. FAQ ### Common questions #### Which AI models does Contengi use? Three, each on the job it does best. OpenAI's GPT-6 Luna runs the Marketing Assistant's conversation and lookups, Anthropic's Claude does every piece of writing, editing, and research that needs judgement, and TypeSafe's Jev checks finished text for AI slop. Plain code handles the rules that are black and white, like em dashes and dead links. #### Do I still need my own Claude key? Yes, for the writing. Drafts, rewrites, and edits run on your Anthropic key, so you always get Claude at full strength on the words your readers see. The assistant's conversation, lookups, and the slop check run on Contengi's own AI, included in your plan. #### What is Jev? A model built to check writing. Contengi asks it a set of yes-or-no questions about a finished piece, one per known AI pattern plus your brand's never-rules, and it points at the sentences that fail. Only those sentences get rewritten. #### Will the slop check change my whole draft? No. It only touches the sentences it flags, and a fix has to match one exact spot in the text or it is skipped. Everything else stays exactly as written, links and formatting included. #### What happens if the included AI runs out? Nothing stops. Your Usage page shows how much of the month you have used, and if you ever use it all, the assistant carries on through your own Claude key until the month resets. #### Does Contengi train AI on my content? No. Your writing runs on your own Anthropic key, which Anthropic does not train on, and the included AI runs with zero data retention. The full list of providers is in our privacy policy. Connect Contengi to Claude and the research, drafting and editing done through the connector runs on your own Claude subscription instead of your Anthropic key. Most users end up on a small key - often the $25 tier - because the heaviest work moved to the Claude plan they were already paying for. The typical stack is Contengi at $50, a light API key around $25, and Claude - not a large Anthropic bill on top of everything else. [See the Claude connector](https://contengi.com/features/claude-connector) FAQ ### Pricing questions #### What does the $50 a month actually cover? The platform itself: every agent, the knowledge base, the hard-rule linter, Search Console and Analytics reads, and LLM visibility tracking. Setup - strategy, knowledge base build and team training - is included free during the beta. #### Do I need to pay for AI separately? Yes. Contengi is bring-your-own-key: you pay Anthropic directly for what the agents actually use, at cost, with no markup on tokens. Most solo operators land between $25 and $50 a month, depending on volume. #### How does connecting Claude MCP change the cost? Research, drafting and editing done through the Claude connector run on your own Claude subscription instead of your Anthropic API key. A typical setup ends up being Contengi ($50) plus a smaller Anthropic key - often around $25 - plus whatever Claude plan you already pay for. #### What's the whitelabel option for? The agents are only as sharp as the strategy and the knowledge base sitting behind them. That is the part that turns a tool wired up to Claude into a content operation that actually sounds like your business. Most AI platforms skip that work and hope the output holds up anyway. It rarely does. We built the setup into the beta instead of selling it back to you as an add-on. What's included ### Three pieces of work, done before you publish a thing. #### Content strategy A clear point of view, a defined audience and a content engine that knows what to write and why. We work through your positioning, your buyer awareness funnel, competitor angles and channel mix together. What comes out the other end is a playbook the platform runs from. #### Knowledge base setup Tone of voice, brand strategy, audience profiles, approved sources and the rules every agent has to follow. Built around your business, not lifted from a template. It's the work that takes most content teams weeks. We do it in days. #### Hands-on training Your team learns the system from the person who built it. We work through your actual workflows: what you publish, where it goes, who signs off. By the end, nobody's just using a tool. They're running a content operation. How it runs ### Working sessions, not a slide deck. Step 1 #### Discovery A working call to map your business, audience, current content and goals. No form to fill in beforehand. We talk, I take notes, we move. Step 2 #### Strategy and knowledge base build I build your knowledge base directly inside Contengi - brand strategy, tone of voice, audience profiles, rules, approved sources. You watch it take shape and we refine it together. It's ready before your team logs in. Step 3 #### Team training A live session with your team running the platform against your real workflows. No pre-recorded videos, questions answered on the call. Step 4 #### Ongoing support Direct access to Stefan for the length of the beta. Something looks off, you ask, and I fix it or get on a call. What you walk away with ### A content operation, not a subscription. A documented content strategy specific to your business A populated knowledge base running across every agent A team trained on the platform and the workflows A publishing cadence that holds without you babysitting it Direct support from the person who built the system FAQ ### Questions about the setup #### Is the setup really free? Yes, for the length of the beta. The platform is $50 a month - the strategy work, the knowledge base build and the training that make it worth using are included, not billed separately. #### How long does it take to get set up? Most of it happens in the discovery call and the days after. Your knowledge base is ready before your team logs in for training. #### What happens after the beta? We'll talk about it before anything changes for you. Nothing moves to a paid setup fee without a conversation first. #### Can my whole team join the training? Yes. Bring whoever touches content, not just the person managing the account. ### All of this, free while we're in beta. $50 a month gets you the platform. Source: https://contengi.com/docs/skills Contengi docs A Contengi playbook is a single markdown document. You write what should happen in plain prose, reference the available tools by name, and end with a strict JSON output schema. Claude reads the whole document as a system prompt and executes it agentically against the brand's data. ### 1\. Shape of a playbook - Plain markdown. Use `##` for numbered steps. - Reference tools by name in the prose (Claude reads the name and calls the tool). - Reference workflow variables via mustache: `{{primary_keyword}}`. - Final step tells Claude to return ONE JSON object matching the BlogResult schema. - You do NOT enforce brand voice, em dashes, or banned phrases. A post-pass handles all of that. ### 2\. Variables you can reference - `{{primary_keyword}}` - the target keyword (string) - `{{content_type}}` - 'editorial' or 'listicle' - `{{user_context}}` - optional user-provided angle / notes (may be empty) - `{{brand_name}}` - the brand the blog is being written for The brand's full KB (sections, rules, examples) plus sitemap and approved external domains are also injected into Claude's system context automatically - no need to reference them as variables. ### 3\. Available tools Mention any of these by name in your playbook prose. Claude will call them when your step says to. All tools are read-only. `brave_search` Search the web via Brave Search. Returns the top results with title, URL, and description. Use this for general web research, fact-checking, or finding additional sources. { "type": "object", "properties": { "query": { "type": "string", "description": "The search query." }, "count": { "type": "number", "description": "Number of results to return (default 5, max 10)." } }, "required": \[ "query" \] } `serp_research`requires serpapi key Fetch Google SERP data via SERPApi: organic results, AI Overview (Google's AI-generated answer box), People Also Ask, and related searches. Use this when you need to understand what's currently ranking for a keyword AND what AI Overview is showing. { "type": "object", "properties": { "query": { "type": "string", "description": "The search query." }, "location": { "type": "string", "description": "Optional location (e.g. \\"United States\\")." }, "num\_results": { "type": "number", "description": "Number of organic results (default 10, max 20)." }, "include": { "type": "array", "description": "Which result types to include. Default: all.", "items": { "type": "string", "enum": \[ "organic", "ai\_overview", "paa", "related" \] } } }, "required": \[ "query" \] } Per-step cap: 3 calls `fetch_url` Fetch the text content of a public web page. Returns up to 3000 characters of plain text plus a list of outbound links. Used for reading sources, competitor pages, or any specific URL. If the response carries source 'brave\_snippet' the live page blocked the fetch and you received only a search-index summary, not the page itself. { "type": "object", "properties": { "url": { "type": "string", "description": "Absolute http(s) URL to fetch." } }, "required": \[ "url" \] } `check_url_404` Check whether a URL is live (returns < 400 status code). Useful for validating links before embedding them. { "type": "object", "properties": { "url": { "type": "string", "description": "Absolute http(s) URL to check." } }, "required": \[ "url" \] } `kb_lookup` Query the brand's knowledge base. Returns sections (brand\_strategy, pov, audience, tone\_of\_voice, writing\_guide, etc.), never/always rules, or content examples filtered by type. { "type": "object", "properties": { "kind": { "type": "string", "enum": \[ "sections", "rules", "examples" \], "description": "What to look up: sections, rules, or content examples." }, "section\_type": { "type": "string", "description": "When kind='sections', filter by section\_type. Omit to return all sections." }, "agent\_type": { "type": "string", "description": "When kind='examples', filter by agent\_type (e.g. 'seo\_blog')." }, "limit": { "type": "number", "description": "Max rows to return (default 10)." } }, "required": \[ "kind" \] } `transcript_lookup` Search the brand's transcripts (podcasts, webinars, calls, voice notes). Returns matching transcripts with title, source type, status, AI analysis (summary/key\_quotes/content\_angles), and a content preview. Use this to mine quotable insights, customer language, or expert commentary that can give a blog real specificity. { "type": "object", "properties": { "query": { "type": "string", "description": "Optional case-insensitive substring to match against transcript title or content. Omit to list the most recent." }, "limit": { "type": "number", "description": "Max rows to return (default 5, max 20)." }, "include\_full\_content": { "type": "boolean", "description": "If true, returns the full transcript content (can be long). Default false - returns a 600-char preview only." } } } `notes_lookup` Search the brand's notes & memos. Returns title, folder, content (or preview), source type, and any AI analysis. Use this to pull internal context, customer interviews, strategy memos, or anything the team has written down for this brand. By default skips personal (is\_personal=true) notes. { "type": "object", "properties": { "query": { "type": "string", "description": "Optional case-insensitive substring to match against note title or content." }, "folder\_id": { "type": "string", "description": "Optional folder UUID to scope the search. Use list\_folders first to discover folder IDs." }, "limit": { "type": "number", "description": "Max rows to return (default 5, max 20)." }, "include\_full\_content": { "type": "boolean", "description": "If true, returns the full note content. Default false - returns a 600-char preview only." }, "include\_personal": { "type": "boolean", "description": "If true, includes personal (is\_personal=true) notes. Default false." } } } `list_folders` List the brand's notes folder hierarchy. Returns folder id, name, and parent\_id. Use this to find a folder\_id before calling notes\_lookup with a folder filter. { "type": "object", "properties": {} } `kb_files_lookup` Search the brand's uploaded knowledge-base files (PDFs, docs, etc. converted to markdown). Returns filename and a content preview (or full content if requested). Use this when the brand has reference material uploaded as files rather than KB sections. { "type": "object", "properties": { "query": { "type": "string", "description": "Optional substring to match against filename or content." }, "limit": { "type": "number", "description": "Max rows to return (default 5, max 20)." }, "include\_full\_content": { "type": "boolean", "description": "If true, returns the full markdown content. Default false - returns 800-char preview." } } } `fetch_sitemap` Fetch a sitemap.xml URL and return the list of URLs it contains. Useful for discovering internal-link candidates. If the brand has a sitemap section in their KB, that URL is provided in the system context already. { "type": "object", "properties": { "url": { "type": "string", "description": "Absolute http(s) URL to the sitemap.xml file." }, "limit": { "type": "number", "description": "Max URLs to return (default 200, max 1000)." } }, "required": \[ "url" \] } `gsc_insights` Fetch Google Search Console insights for the brand for a given keyword: top queries, click-through rates, average position. Returns null if GSC is not configured for this brand. { "type": "object", "properties": { "keyword": { "type": "string", "description": "The focus keyword to look up." } }, "required": \[ "keyword" \] } `ga4_insights` Fetch Google Analytics 4 insights for the brand: top landing pages, traffic patterns. Returns null if GA4 is not configured for this brand. { "type": "object", "properties": {} } ### 4\. The final output contract Your playbook's last step must tell Claude to return ONE JSON object exactly matching this shape (no markdown fences, no preamble): { "title": "...", "seo\_title": "60 chars max, keyword-front-loaded", "meta\_description": "155 chars max, includes keyword, has a hook", "excerpt": "1-2 sentence summary for blog listing pages", "hero\_intro": "2-3 punchy sentences before the main body", "body\_html": "HTML body with embedded links + FAQ section", "faq": \[\], "external\_links": \[{"url": "...", "anchor": "...", "context": "..."}\], "internal\_links": \[{"url": "...", "anchor": "...", "context": "..."}\], "estimated\_read\_time": 4, "target\_keyword": "{{primary\_keyword}}", "secondary\_keywords": \[\] } After Claude returns this JSON, Contengi automatically runs `runTovRefinement` + `runCleanPipeline` on `body_html` to enforce brand voice + anti-slop + hard rules. You don't need to handle any of that in the playbook. ### 5\. Editing in Contengi - Open **SEO blog writer → Playbook settings** (top right). - You'll see the locked **Contengi default - SEO blog** (read-only safe fallback) and the editable **Default + AI-snippet analysis** example. - Duplicate or create new, edit in the markdown editor, save. Click **Set as preferred** to auto-select your playbook on the queue form. - Variables, tool names, and the final JSON contract are exactly as documented above. ### 6\. Write playbooks in Claude Code (optional) If you want to draft a playbook in Claude Code or any LLM chat, paste this system prompt first, then describe what you want the playbook to do. Copy and paste into Claude You're helping me write a Contengi playbook - a single prose markdown document that tells Claude how to produce an SEO blog end-to-end. Format: - Plain markdown, numbered sections (## 1. Step name). - Reference tools by name (serp\_research, kb\_lookup, transcript\_lookup, notes\_lookup, fetch\_url, fetch\_sitemap, gsc\_insights, ga4\_insights, check\_url\_404, list\_folders, kb\_files\_lookup, brave\_search). - Reference variables via {{primary\_keyword}}, {{content\_type}}, {{user\_context}}, {{brand\_name}}. - The final step instructs Claude to return ONE JSON object matching the Contengi BlogResult schema. Do NOT use markdown fences around that JSON in your instruction. Constraints: - Tools are read-only. - No em dashes, no emojis (Contengi enforces these via the final pass). - Keep instructions specific. Vague playbooks produce vague blogs. - Anti-slop + TOV refinement run automatically after the final JSON output. You do NOT need to enforce voice or banned words in the playbook. The playbook should do: . Output a single markdown playbook I can paste into Contengi's Playbook settings editor. --- ## The hype is real. So is the execution gap. > Why Contengi exists: enterprise-level content workflows for founders and solo marketers who do not have a weekend to wire up Claude themselves. Source: https://contengi.com/about About Contengi You've seen what AI can do. The threads. The demos. You don't need another post telling you Claude is good or that agentic workflows are coming. You know. You also know ChatGPT isn't enough. Generic prompts give you generic content. You can feel the slop the second you hit publish, and so can your audience. ![Stefan Maritz](https://contengi.com/stefan-headshot-green.png) The problem ### You don't have a weekend for this. There's a serious version of the AI content stack sitting just out of reach. Real knowledge bases. Brand voice that holds across surfaces. Quality enforcement that catches what generic prompts miss. The problem isn't awareness. It's bandwidth. You know your business cold. You just don't have a weekend to learn MCP, design a multi-agent pipeline and maintain it as the tools change every six weeks. So content slides, and you can see the value without being able to reach it. What we built ### Enterprise workflows, behind a button. We took what large content teams take for granted and packaged it into one platform. You bring the strategy and the editorial judgement. The agents handle the execution. #### The workflows, packaged Brand strategy frameworks, tone of voice systems, SEO research stacks and multi-pass quality checks - the stuff large content teams take for granted, packaged into one platform. #### One button, not a stack to maintain No MCP servers to wire up, no prompts to engineer, no model juggling. Hit a button and a blog, a newsletter or a press release comes out - on-brand, sourced from your knowledge base. #### The judgement stays yours The technical work is done. What's left is the part only you can do: the strategy, the point of view, the call on what's worth publishing. This is not vibecoded ### A year of real work, from two disciplines. Contengi has been in build for a year now, not a weekend project shipped off the back of a demo. Stefan Maritz, the content marketer, and Neil Clulow, the software engineer, put their skills together to build it. That split matters. The brand strategy, the tone-of-voice systems and the hard rules come from a decade of real content work. The agent architecture, the knowledge base and the platform underneath come from someone who builds software for a living. Neither half is a prompt someone typed once. Content strategy Stefan Maritz Software engineering Neil Clulow Contengi What we don't do ### No hype. No fear-mongering. No bullshit. #### We don't sell AI hype. The product talks. The output talks. We're not here to convince you AI is coming. You already know. #### We don't fear-monger. You don't need someone telling you you'll be obsolete next year. You can read a feed. #### We don't pretend AI replaces strategy. It doesn't, and anyone selling you that is wrong. We replace the busywork, not the brain. #### We don't bury you in features. SEO blogs, social posts, newsletters, press releases, thought leadership pieces, transcripts. One knowledge base feeds all of them. That is the whole product. Built by someone who's done it ### A decade of brand work, packaged. Contengi is built by Stefan Maritz - head of content at a fintech unicorn by day, brand strategist at Energy & Matter by night. Every post is written from your knowledge base, tone of voice and hard rules Four slop filters run before a draft reaches you Nothing goes live until you publish or ask for it Updates go back over the original post, never beside it Keys and tokens are stored encrypted, and a connection can be removed at any time FAQ ### Common questions #### Which websites can Contengi publish to? WordPress, Shopify and Webflow connect natively. Sites built with Claude, v0 or any other code connect through one signed endpoint, and static sites without a backend can pull a feed of published posts instead. #### What can the agent actually do on my blog? Read the posts that are already live, write new ones in your brand voice, edit them section by section, publish on your say-so and republish changes over the same URL. #### Can I connect more than one website? Each brand in Contengi connects to one website. Run several brands and each one can have its own site. #### Will an update ever create a duplicate post? No. An update has to find the original post, by the id Contengi saved or the slug in its URL. If it cannot, the publish stops and tells you why, so the old version never stays live beside a new one. #### My platform is not listed. Can I still connect? If your site can answer an HTTPS request, use the signed webhook, the same one Claude and v0 sites use. Framer, Carrd and other no-backend builders can read a JSON or RSS feed of your published posts. Contengi talks to the REST API that ships with every WordPress install, so there is nothing to add to your site and nothing to keep updated. Connection The WordPress core REST API at /wp-json/wp/v2. No plugin. Authentication A WordPress Application Password, built into WordPress since 5.6, sent over https only and stored encrypted. Permissions Whatever the WordPress user you connect with can do. An Editor account covers everything Contengi needs. Featured images Downloaded and uploaded into your media library, because WordPress takes an attachment rather than a link. If one image fails, the post still publishes. Updates Contengi finds the original by the post id it saved, or by the slug in its URL, and edits it in place. Unpublish and delete Handled in WordPress admin, next to your redirects. Requirements Self-hosted WordPress 5.6 or newer on https, with permalinks set to anything but Plain. Setup: About two minutes ### Connected in four steps. Step 1 #### Create an Application Password In WordPress go to Users, then Profile, and add an Application Password called Contengi. Step 2 #### Paste it into Contengi In Settings, Integrations, add WordPress with your site URL, username and the new password. Step 3 #### Set your defaults Choose whether posts publish live or as drafts, and pick a default category. Step 4 #### Hit Test Contengi checks that the REST API answers and the account can write. No. Contengi uses the REST API that is built into WordPress and authenticates with an Application Password, which WordPress has included since version 5.6. #### Can Contengi edit posts it did not write? Yes. The CMS lists every post on the site. Open one and the agent reads its real HTML through the REST API, edits the sections you ask for and publishes the result back over the same post. #### Does it fill in my Yoast or Rank Math fields? Contengi sets the title, slug, excerpt, body, FAQ and featured image. Fields that belong to an SEO plugin stay with that plugin, so set those in WordPress. #### Why does the connection test fail? Almost always one of three things: the site is not on https, permalinks are set to Plain, or a security plugin is blocking /wp-json. Contengi names which one when the test runs. #### Does it work with WordPress.com? It is built for self-hosted WordPress. A WordPress.com site works if its plan exposes the REST API and Application Passwords. You create a small private app on your own store and Contengi connects through it with standard Shopify OAuth. The app asks for one permission, so the agent can reach your blog and nothing else. Connection The Shopify Admin API, through an app you create for your own store. It is never listed publicly. Permissions One scope, write\_content. No access to orders, customers, products or payments. Authentication Standard Shopify OAuth with a signed callback. Your client secret is encrypted into a 10-minute token and never stored. Contengi keeps only the access token Shopify issues, encrypted. Featured images Sent as a link. Shopify fetches the image and hosts it on its own CDN. No. The app you create asks for write\_content only, which covers blog content. Orders, customers, products and payments sit behind other scopes that Contengi never requests. #### Why do I have to create my own app? It keeps the connection private to your store and under your control. You can see exactly what it is allowed to do, and revoke it in Shopify at any time. #### The connection fails with a matching hosts error. What now? Tick Use legacy install flow in the app version, release it again and reconnect. Without that setting Shopify uses a different install flow that rejects outside redirect URLs. #### Can it update articles that are already on my store? Yes. Open any article from the CMS, edit it with the agent or refresh it with the SEO agent, and it publishes back over the same article at the same URL. Does that work? Yes. Contengi reads the collection schema and suggests a mapping for the body, summary, featured image, SEO title and meta description. Only the body field is required. #### Can I keep posts as drafts in Webflow? Yes. Set the connection to draft and posts are staged in the collection without touching the live site. Edits to a live post stay staged too, until you publish in Webflow. #### Why does the first publish say the collection is not live? Webflow only accepts live items into a collection that has been published at least once. Click Publish in Webflow, then try again. #### Can Contengi change the URL of a live post? No. The slug of a live Webflow post is locked, so a published address cannot move by accident. Change it in Webflow and set up a redirect there. Claude can open a live post, edit it section by section and leave it waiting for you to publish. [Claude connector](https://contengi.com/features/claude-connector) Under the hood ### How the connection is built. A site Claude built has no admin panel, so Contengi becomes one. The connection is a single endpoint in your own code, which means it works with any stack Claude chose and any host you deploy to. Connection One HTTPS endpoint on your site, for example /api/contengi. Contengi sends each post to it as JSON. Security Every request is signed with HMAC-SHA256 over the timestamp and the body, in the X-Contengi-Signature and X-Contengi-Timestamp headers. Your endpoint checks the signature and rejects stale timestamps, so nobody else can post to your blog. What arrives Title, slug, SEO title, meta description, excerpt, body HTML, FAQ, links, read time, keywords, author and featured image. Where it is stored Wherever your site already keeps content: a database, Supabase, a headless CMS or files in the repo. Each post is keyed on its slug, which is its URL. Updates An edit arrives flagged as an update with the live URL. Your endpoint replaces the post at that slug and the address never changes. Unpublish and delete A signed PATCH takes a post back to draft and a signed DELETE removes it, both from the Contengi CMS. Reading Contengi keeps a copy of every post it publishes, so edits start from exactly what went out. For older posts it reads the live page. No backend? Static sites can pull a JSON or RSS feed of published posts instead, behind a private token. Setup: One prompt to Claude Code ### Connected in four steps. Step 1 #### Add your site in Contengi In Settings, Integrations, add a custom website with the endpoint URL, for example yoursite.com/api/contengi. Copy the signing secret it shows you. Step 2 #### Paste the prompt into Claude Code Claude builds the endpoint against the contract below, in whatever stack your site already uses. Step 3 #### Add the secret and deploy Save the signing secret as CONTENGI\_SIGNING\_SECRET in your hosting environment and deploy. Step 4 #### Hit Test Contengi sends a signed test post. A 200 with a URL means you are live. Copy, paste, deploy ### The prompt that builds it. Paste this into Claude Code in your site's repo. It covers the whole contract: signature check, upsert on slug, unpublish, delete and the blog pages. Prompt Add a Contengi publishing endpoint to this site at /api/contengi. Use the framework and conventions this project already uses. 1. Verify every request. Read the raw body, compute HMAC-SHA256 of "." using the CONTENGI\_SIGNING\_SECRET environment variable, and compare it to the X-Contengi-Signature header (format sha256=) with a constant-time check. Reject timestamps older than five minutes. 2. POST: upsert the post keyed on "slug", never on "blog\_id". Store title, seo\_title, meta\_description, excerpt, body\_html, faq, author\_name and featured\_image. If "test" is true, store nothing. Reply 200 with {"url": ""}. 3. PATCH with action "unpublish": set the post at "slug" back to draft so its URL returns 404. Keep the record. 4. DELETE with action "delete": remove the post at "slug". 5. Render posts at /blog/\[slug\] and list them at /blog, with seo\_title and meta\_description in the page head. Store posts in the site's existing database or content store. If there is none, suggest one before building. ### Other integrations. [All integrations](https://contengi.com/integrations) [WordPressCore REST API and an Application Password. No. You paste one prompt into Claude Code and it writes the endpoint. The only manual step is saving the signing secret in your hosting settings. #### Which stacks does it work with? Any stack that can answer an HTTPS request: Next.js, Astro, SvelteKit, Remix, Express and the rest. Hosting on Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare or your own server all work the same way. #### What if my site is fully static? Use a pull feed instead. Contengi serves your published posts as a private JSON or RSS feed and your site reads it at build time or on request. #### Can Contengi unpublish or delete posts on my site? Yes. The CMS sends a signed PATCH to unpublish and a signed DELETE to delete, and your endpoint handles both. Contengi only reports a post as gone once your site replies 200. #### Can I edit posts from Claude as well? Yes. With the Claude connector, the Claude you built the site with can open a live post, edit it section by section and leave it waiting for you to publish. [Content agents](https://contengi.com/features/content-agents) Claude #### Works from your own Claude too Connect Contengi to Claude and the same blog is one chat away. Claude can open a live post, edit it section by section and leave it waiting for you to publish. [Claude connector](https://contengi.com/features/claude-connector) Under the hood ### How the connection is built. v0 builds Next.js apps, so the connection is one route handler in your own project. It deploys with the rest of the site on Vercel and needs nothing extra to run. Setup: One prompt to v0 ### Connected in four steps. Step 1 #### Add your site in Contengi In Settings, Integrations, add a custom website with the endpoint URL, for example yoursite.com/api/contengi. Copy the signing secret it shows you. Step 2 #### Paste the prompt into v0 v0 adds the route handler and the blog pages to your project. Step 3 #### Add the secret and deploy Save the signing secret as CONTENGI\_SIGNING\_SECRET in v0's environment variables or your Vercel project settings, then deploy. Step 4 #### Hit Test Contengi sends a signed test post. A 200 with a URL means you are live. Copy, paste, deploy ### The prompt that builds it. Paste this into the v0 chat for your project. It covers the whole contract: signature check, upsert on slug, unpublish, delete and the blog pages. Prompt Add a Contengi publishing endpoint to this site at /api/contengi. This is a Next.js App Router project. Use a route handler at app/api/contengi/route.ts and read the raw body with request.text() before parsing it. No. You paste one prompt into v0 and it writes the route. The only manual step is saving the signing secret in your environment variables. #### Where are the posts stored? In your own project. If it has no database yet, v0 can add one from the Vercel Marketplace, such as Neon or Supabase, and the posts live there. #### Does it work if I export the code and host it elsewhere? Yes. The route is ordinary Next.js code, so it runs wherever the app runs. #### Can Contengi unpublish or delete posts on my site? Yes. The CMS sends a signed PATCH to unpublish and a signed DELETE to delete, and your route handles both. Contengi only reports a post as gone once your site replies 200. A content engineering platform packages the systems a content engineer would otherwise build by hand. A structured brand knowledge base, an AI agent for each format, workflows that chain research, drafting, checking, and publishing together, and the data connections that tell you what to write next. Contengi is one, built for founders, solo marketers, and small teams who know what good content looks like and don't have an engineer to spare. Think of it as Canva for agentic content: the hard parts are absorbed, and the output still looks like it came from a team of 10. Already wired in Contengi A brand knowledge base every agent reads Agents for blogs, social, email, PR, and video Workflows with approval gates, on a schedule Slop filters and your hard rules on every draft Publishing to your site, plus Search Console and GA4 ### The whole stack, layer by layer. Software that packages the systems a content engineer would otherwise build by hand: a structured brand knowledge base, AI agents for each format, workflows that chain them together, quality checks, and connections to your website and analytics. You run it from a normal interface. #### How is it different from an AI writing tool? An AI writing tool gives you a model and a text box. A content engineering platform wraps the model in everything else a publishing operation needs, from the knowledge base it reads to the workflow that researches, drafts, checks, publishes, and later refreshes the piece. #### Do I need technical skills to use Contengi? No. The agents, prompts, model routing, and quality checks are already built. You work in a web app, and your knowledge base is built with you during setup. #### Which AI models does Contengi use? Claude from Anthropic does the writing and every call that needs judgement. A faster model handles conversation and lookups, and a separate model checks drafts for AI patterns. You connect your own Anthropic API key and pay for tokens at cost. #### Can I run the platform from Claude? Yes. The Claude connector puts more than 60 Contengi tools inside your own Claude, so you can brief a blog, edit a live post, or run a workflow from a chat. #### How much does Contengi cost? The beta is $50 a month plus your Anthropic usage, with no seats and no lock-in. The pricing page shows what different levels of API spend produce. An agentic content marketing platform uses AI agents to carry out the work in steps. Each agent decides which tools to call, reads your brand rules and your data along the way, and hands back finished work at the points where you want to approve it. The agents run multi-step jobs on their own, and the guardrails are yours to set. That's what turns an AI that answers questions into a content operation that ships. One agentic run, start to finish Loads your knowledge base and hard rules Checks Search Console for the opportunity Researches from sources you approve Drafts in the format the job needs Runs four slop filters on the draft Waits for you, then publishes ### What happens in one agentic run. Ask for a blog on a keyword and this is what runs underneath, in order, with your knowledge base loaded at every step. 1. 01 ### Brief One line in the chat, a scheduled automation, or a message from your own Claude. 2. 02 ### Plan The assistant picks the tools and files the job needs and shows every call it makes. 3. 03 ### Research Keyword data, competitor pages, and cited sources from the domains you approve. 4. 04 ### Draft Claude writes in your voice, against your writing guide and your hard rules. 5. 05 ### Check Four slop filters, then a link check. Only the flagged sentences get rewritten. 6. 06 ### Approve You read it, change what you like, and publish to your site in a click. Automations repeat the run on your schedule, and refreshes land back on the same URL. ### A small team of models, each on its own job. One model doing everything is either expensive or sloppy. Nothing goes live until you approve it. Workflows pause at approval gates, and a refreshed post only republishes over its original URL, so a second copy never appears at a new address. #### Can agents run on a schedule? Yes. Describe a recurring job in plain English, pick a schedule, and the automation runs it, from a weekly Search Console report to turning each new transcript into a blog and three LinkedIn posts. #### Which models run the agents? A fast model leads the conversation and handles lookups, Claude writes and makes every call that needs judgement, and a separate model checks drafts for AI patterns. The How it works page shows which model does which job. #### What does it cost to run? $50 a month in beta plus your Anthropic usage at cost. The pricing page shows what a typical blog, post, or newsletter costs in tokens. Keep exploring ### Related features and reads In the platform [### Automations Put the agents on a schedule. A single system that runs a content operation end to end. It holds the brand rules, runs AI agents that research, write, and publish, keeps every piece of work in one library, and moves on schedules you set. Contengi is an agentic content operating system for small teams. #### How is it different from a content management system? A CMS stores and publishes content someone else made. A content operating system also makes it: it plans from your search data, writes with agents, checks quality, publishes, and comes back to refresh. Contengi includes a lightweight CMS as one part of the system. #### Do I have to replace my website or CMS? No. Contengi connects to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, and custom sites, and publishes to them. Your site stays where it is. #### Can one workspace run more than one brand? Yes. Each brand gets its own knowledge base, hard rules, and library, so agents never mix up whose voice they are writing in. Agencies and consultants can ask about the whitelabel setup. #### Who is it built for? Founders, solo marketers, and content teams of one to five who want the output of a full content operation without hiring one or building it in code. #### How much does it cost? $50 a month in beta, plus your Anthropic usage at cost on your own key. Setup with a strategist is included. An agentic CMS is a content management system where AI agents can do the work a person does in the admin. They open a live post, change it, check it, and publish it, inside guardrails you control. A traditional CMS stores content and waits for someone to log in. An agentic CMS lets agents act on that content directly, so refreshing a slipping post or fixing an outdated stat happens in minutes, with you approving the result. Guardrails built in Edits touch only the section you asked about Every change comes with a diff you can revert Links get checked before anything publishes Updates republish at the same URL or stop Deleting a post means typing it out first ### Traditional, headless, and agentic. Traditional CMS Who does the editing A person in the admin panel Who writes the content You, or whoever you pay Keeping old posts fresh Manual, when someone notices Where it runs Its own themes and plugins Working from Claude Depends on the plugins Headless CMS Who does the editing A person in the studio, on a model a developer set up Who writes the content You, or whoever you pay Keeping old posts fresh Manual, when someone notices Where it runs Any front end, through an API Working from Claude Possible, with your own MCP build Agentic CMS Who does the editing Agents edit, you approve Who writes the content Agents that read your knowledge base and hard rules Keeping old posts fresh Search Console flags the slip, an agent refreshes at the same URL Where it runs On top of WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, or a custom site Working from Claude Built in, through the Claude connector Traditional CMS Headless CMS Agentic CMS Who does the editing A person in the admin panel A person in the studio, on a model a developer set up Agents edit, you approve Who writes the content You, or whoever you pay You, or whoever you pay Agents that read your knowledge base and hard rules Keeping old posts fresh Manual, when someone notices Manual, when someone notices Search Console flags the slip, an agent refreshes at the same URL Where it runs Its own themes and plugins Any front end, through an API On top of WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, or a custom site Working from Claude Depends on the plugins Possible, with your own MCP build Built in, through the Claude connector ### What the agent can do on your site. #### Reads what is live Lists every post on your connected site, with what is live, what is a draft, and which posts have changes waiting to go out. #### Writes in your voice The SEO agent researches the keyword, reads your knowledge base and hard rules, and drafts. Four slop filters run before you see it. #### Publishes when you say so Push a post live from the library or the CMS in a couple of clicks, with the SEO title, meta description, and featured image set. #### Edits one section at a time Ask it to tighten an intro or fix a stat and it changes only that part, checks the links, and shows a diff you can revert. #### Republishes at the same URL An edited or refreshed post goes back over the original. If the original cannot be found, the publish stops, so duplicates never appear. #### Takes orders from your Claude Through the Claude connector, your own Claude can open a live post, edit it, and leave it waiting for you to publish. The CMS itself ### A lightweight CMS for everything that is live. The CMS lists every post on your connected site. Write a new one or paste a draft, set the slug, SEO title, meta description, and featured image, and publish. Character counts flag anything Google will cut off. Rename a live post and Contengi checks the new slug against your other posts and your sitemap first, then reminds you to redirect the old address. Refresh, don't rewrite ### Posts that slip get fixed where they already rank. Search Console shows which posts are losing clicks and which keywords sit just off page one. Point the refresh agent at a post and it reads the live version, updates the sections that need it, and republishes over the original URL, so the rankings you earned stay attached. ### Works with the site you already have. Contengi is an agentic CMS that connects to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, and custom sites. #### Will the agent publish changes without asking? No. Edits wait for you with a diff you can revert, and nothing goes live until you publish it. Deleting a post asks you to type it out first. #### Do I have to move my content into Contengi? No. Your posts stay on your site. Contengi reads them from WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow, and keeps a copy of everything it publishes to custom sites so edits start from exactly what went out. #### Can it unpublish or delete posts? On custom websites and pull feeds, yes, through a signed request your site confirms. WordPress and Shopify keep unpublishing and deleting in their own admin. #### What stops it creating duplicate posts? Every update republishes over the original post at the same URL. If Contengi cannot find the original, the publish stops instead of creating a second copy somewhere else. #### Can I use the CMS from Claude? Yes. Connect Contengi to Claude and every post in the CMS is reachable from a chat. Claude can read a live post, edit it section by section, and leave it for you to publish. An AI-native CMS is a content management system built for websites that AI tools created and AI agents keep up to date. It lives outside your code, connects through one small endpoint your AI builder writes, and hands the writing, editing, and publishing to agents while you approve. Sites built with Claude Code or v0 go live fast and ship without an admin panel. Contengi becomes that admin panel, with an agent in it that knows your brand. Copy the signing secret. 2. 02 ### Paste the prompt Claude Code or v0 builds the endpoint against the contract, in whatever stack your site already uses. 3. 03 ### Add the secret Save it as CONTENGI\_SIGNING\_SECRET in your hosting environment, then deploy. 4. 04 ### Hit Test Contengi sends a signed test post. A 200 with a URL means your blog is live. The contract ### One endpoint, and it covers the whole lifecycle. Publishing sends a signed POST, and your site upserts the post on its slug. Unpublishing sends a signed PATCH that takes the post back to draft, and deleting sends a signed DELETE. Contengi only reports a post as gone once your site replies 200. Edits arrive flagged as updates with the live URL, so the post is replaced in place and the address never changes. Less moving parts than a headless CMS, and nothing to keep in sync. Anything that can answer an HTTPS request: sites built with Claude Code, v0, or Cursor, on Next.js, Astro, SvelteKit, Remix, or Express, hosted on Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare, or your own server. #### What if my site is fully static? Use a pull feed. Contengi serves your published posts as a private JSON or RSS feed behind a token, and your site reads it at build time or on request. #### Do I need to know how to code? No. You paste one prompt into Claude Code or v0 and it writes the endpoint. The only manual step is saving the signing secret in your hosting settings. #### Where does my content live? In your own site’s database or content store, keyed on the post slug. Contengi keeps a copy of everything it publishes so edits start from exactly what went out, and your posts stay yours if you ever leave. #### Is it secure? Every request is signed with HMAC-SHA256 over a timestamp and the body. Your endpoint checks the signature and rejects anything older than five minutes, so nobody else can post to your blog. Contengi instructs Claude never to publish unless you ask it to. #### Which Claude apps does it work with? Claude on the web and desktop through custom connectors, and Claude Code. Custom connectors need a Claude plan that supports them. #### Does it use my Claude subscription or my Anthropic API key? Research, drafting, and editing through the connector run on your Claude subscription, with the model you choose. Jobs that run inside Contengi, like playbooks, workflow runs, and full article refreshes, use your workspace's Anthropic API key. #### Does my website have to be built with Claude? No. WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow connect natively. If Claude Code or v0 built your site, it connects through one signed endpoint that Claude Code writes for you from a single prompt. #### How is this different from letting Claude Code edit my repo? Claude Code can change files, but it does not know your brand, has no draft and approval step, and every post change becomes a code deploy. A Claude CMS keeps posts as content: Claude writes and edits them, you approve, and Contengi publishes over the same URL. Matching that with a freelancer or an agency costs thousands a month, and a ChatGPT subscription leaves you with drafts that still need a writer. Contengi sits in between, the content workflows are already built, your knowledge base is set up with you, and the agents write to your rules. You spend a few hours a week reviewing and publishing, and your business shows up like it has a full team behind it. ### What your business gets #### One brand brain Your services, customers, tone, and rules written down once. Every blog, post, and email starts from it. #### Search-ready blogs Keyword research, competitor analysis, and structured articles grounded in sources you approve, ready to publish. #### Social and email from the same idea Turn one blog, call, or podcast into LinkedIn posts and a newsletter issue without rewriting it three times. #### A strategist on call An assistant that knows your brand and your Search Console data, for questions like what to write next month. #### Human setup included Onboarding, knowledge base build, and training come with the beta, delivered by the person who built the platform. #### AI at cost Bring your own Anthropic API key and pay Claude directly. Check that it holds your brand context so drafts sound like you, covers the channels you use, and costs less than the freelancer or agency it replaces. Then test it on a real piece of work and time how long the edit takes. #### How much time does it take each week? Plan for a few hours a week to review drafts and publish once your knowledge base is in place. Setup is one focused session plus a few rounds of refinement. #### Will the content sound like my business? That is what the knowledge base is for. Your tone of voice, writing examples, and hard rules feed every agent, and drafts are checked against those rules before you see them. #### Is there a contract? No lock-in. So the drafts end up in a notes app and nothing goes out for weeks. Contengi works from the material you already produce. A sales call, a podcast appearance, a voice note on the way to a meeting, all of it becomes raw material for posts and articles in your voice. You review, change a line or two, and publish. ### Built around a founder's week #### Transcripts in, content out Upload a call or podcast and get a summary, key quotes, and ready-to-use angles for posts and articles. #### Your voice, written down We interview you and turn how you think and talk into a knowledge base the agents write from. #### LinkedIn that sounds like you Posts drafted from your ideas and experience, checked against rules that strip out the AI tells. #### Long-form opinion articles Longer pieces built from your opinions and stories, ready for LinkedIn articles or your blog. #### Runs on a schedule Tell it in plain English what to produce each week, and it gets done while you are in meetings. ### How founders use it 1. Capture ideas as you talk, through calls, podcasts, and voice notes, then have AI turn those transcripts into drafts in your voice. Your part shrinks to reviewing and approving, which takes minutes per piece. #### Will people know it was written with AI? Not when it is built on your ideas and edited by you. The knowledge base captures how you speak, and the anti-slop rules remove the phrases and patterns readers associate with AI writing. #### Which formats does it write? LinkedIn posts and articles, SEO blogs, newsletters, press releases, and YouTube packages, all from the same knowledge base. #### Do I need a marketing team to use it? No. It is designed for founders running content on their own, with setup and training included so you are not working it out alone. ### An AI content system for founders who don't have time to write Set up your knowledge base once, with a strategist. Build a system and stop producing each piece by hand: one knowledge base with your brand context, agents that draft for each channel, repurposing from a single source asset, and automations for the recurring work. Your time then goes on strategy and editing. #### Can AI do the work of a content team? AI handles a large share of the production work, such as research, drafting, and reformatting. Judgement stays with you: what to say, what is off-brand, and what your audience cares about, which is why every draft comes to you for review. #### Does it connect to Google Search Console? Yes. Connect Search Console and Google Analytics, and the marketing assistant uses your performance data when it suggests what to write or refresh. #### What does it cost? $50 a month during the beta, plus your own Anthropic API usage at cost. ### The AI content platform for one-person marketing teams Set up your knowledge base once, with a strategist. Search engines and AI assistants have plenty of that, so it rarely ranks or gets cited. Contengi's blog writer runs a full workflow. It checks the search results, studies the competing articles, pulls facts from the domains you trust, writes to your brand rules, and adds FAQs and meta fields. You get a draft worth editing, with room for your own expertise. ### What the blog writer does #### Keyword ideas from your data Search Console shows the queries sitting just off page one, ready to queue as articles. #### Research before writing The writer reviews the current results for the keyword and builds an outline around what searchers need. #### Sources you approve Statistics and external links come from the domains on your approved list. #### Your voice and rules Every article is written from your knowledge base and checked against your hard rules and the anti-slop rule set. #### SEO fields included SEO title, meta description, FAQs, and a slug come with every draft. #### Publish when ready Edit in the editor, then send the article straight to your website. ### From keyword to live post 1. Yes. Google ranks helpful content however it was produced. AI articles rank when they answer the search intent well, include first-hand experience or original input, and get reviewed by someone who knows the subject. #### How is this different from writing blogs in ChatGPT? A chat assistant writes from a single prompt with no memory of your brand or the search results. Contengi's blog writer researches the keyword, reads your knowledge base, follows your rules, and produces the SEO fields and FAQs in one workflow. #### Does it publish to my website? Yes. Finished articles can be sent straight to your site, so publishing no longer means copying and pasting. #### How many blogs can I write? It depends on your Anthropic usage. The pricing section on the homepage estimates around 60 blogs on $25 of monthly API spend and around 120 on $50. ### An AI SEO blog writer that sounds like your brand Set up your knowledge base once, with a strategist. Removes hidden Unicode, fixes em dashes, swaps filler, and highlights the sentences that read as AI. Source: https://contengi.com/ai-slop-cleaner Free tool / AI slop cleaner Paste in anything a chatbot wrote. The cleaner strips the invisible characters, fixes the dashes, swaps the corporate verbs, and highlights every sentence that reads like a machine wrote it. It runs in your browser, so nothing you paste leaves this page. ### What the cleaner checks These are the same rules Contengi runs on every draft in the app, lifted straight out of its anti-slop standard and turned into plain code you can run on anything. #### Hidden characters Fixed automatically Zero-width spaces and joiners, byte-order marks, soft hyphens, directional marks, and Unicode tag characters, which can carry hidden instructions to the next AI that reads your text. Narrow and non-breaking spaces become normal spaces. #### Punctuation Fixed automatically Every em dash becomes a spaced hyphen and ranges get a plain hyphen. Emojis go. Curly quotes and markdown symbols are optional, for when you paste into a plain-text field. #### Words and phrases Swapped or highlighted Corporate verbs get swapped for plain ones, so utilise becomes use and in order to becomes to. Throat-clearing like “it’s worth noting that” is deleted. Stock AI words like delve, tapestry, and seamless get highlighted for you to rewrite. #### Structure Highlighted The “not X, it’s Y” contrast, fake-suspense questions, “No X. No Y. Just Z.”, a pile-up of lists in threes, sentences that all start with the same word, and a flat rhythm where every sentence runs the same length. Free Claude skill ### Take the slop cleaner into Claude. The same checks as this page, packaged as a skill for Claude. It strips the hidden characters and then does the part a regex can't, rewriting the flagged sentences while keeping your facts and your voice. [Download the skill](https://contengi.com/downloads/ai-slop-cleaner-skill.zip) ### Where a cleaner stops A cleaner fixes characters and words. Structure is where AI writing gives itself away, and fixing a straw-man sentence means rewriting it in your voice. Contengi does that before you see the draft. Every writer starts with the anti-slop standard and your brand's rules, Claude edits its own draft, plain code scans for the exact rules, and Jev checks for the patterns a word list misses. [Request beta access](https://contengi.com/beta-access) [How it works](https://contengi.com/how-it-works) A slop check from a live Contengi run. Only the flagged sentence gets rewritten, everything else stays yours. FAQ ### Common questions #### Does this remove the Claude watermark? No. Claude’s watermark is statistical, carried in which words Claude chooses, and Anthropic says it adds no hidden characters. Nothing that edits characters can touch it. The cleaner removes the hidden characters that other tools and copy-pasting leave behind, and highlights the writing habits readers spot. #### Does ChatGPT put hidden characters in its text? Sometimes. In April 2025 researchers caught o3 and o4-mini adding narrow no-break spaces to long answers. Copying out of any chat window, PDF, or Google Doc can also pick up zero-width and non-breaking spaces. Paste a draft in and the cleaner counts them for you. #### Will this get my text past an AI detector? No promises there. Detectors and watermarks read word choice and statistics, and the cleaner leaves those alone. It’s built to make your writing better to read. #### Is my text sent anywhere? No. The cleaner runs in your browser with plain code, no AI model and no server. Close the tab and it’s gone. #### Why are em dashes on the list? Chatbots use them far more than people do, and readers have noticed. One em dash won’t sink a post, ten in a LinkedIn update will. The cleaner swaps each one for a spaced hyphen, which reads the same. #### What is the slop score? A rough count of AI tells per 100 words on a scale of 0 to 100, weighted so a “not X, it’s Y” sentence counts for more than a stray emoji. Under 20 reads clean. Treat it as a pointer to where to look, a human editor still has the final say. #### How do I use the Claude skill? Download the zip. In Claude Code, unzip it into ~/.claude/skills/ and ask Claude to clean a draft. In the Claude apps, upload the zip in your Skills settings. The skill runs the same checks as this page and rewrites the flagged sentences too. ### Content that sounds like you, from the first draft.
